The simple explanation

What is LEAP?

LEAP introduces young learners to leadership, awareness, communication and values through Sunday group learning. The shared setting encourages students to hear different perspectives and participate with purpose.

WHO IT IS FOR

Classes 5–8

Discuss class suitability and the student’s learning goals with the academy before applying.

HOW IT WORKS

Sunday group classes

Guided Sunday group learning with shared perspectives and purposeful participation.

WHAT IT SUPPORTS

A stronger foundation

Leadership, awareness, confidence, communication and values.

The learning focus

Not just what to learn.
How to connect it.

Simple explanations of the approach, without an invented syllabus, timetable or outcome guarantee.

01

Leadership and responsibility

Explore what it means to contribute, make thoughtful choices and take responsibility within a learning community.

02

Civic and social awareness

Build awareness of people, places and the wider world. Newspapers and maps support the programme’s orientation activities.

03

Confidence and communication

A guided group setting gives learners space to express ideas and listen to others, while building confidence in participation.

04

Values-based learning

Encourage thoughtful behaviour, disciplined habits and a sense of purpose alongside classroom learning.

05

Learning with others

Sunday group classes offer shared perspectives. Each learner can participate without needing the same interests or starting point.

06

Learning beyond a single lesson

The aim is a foundation of awareness, expression and responsibility that students can carry into everyday learning.

The approach

A purposeful journey.
A thoughtful pace.

Shared learning supports individual expression, awareness and responsibility.

These steps explain the approach. They are not a fixed programme timetable.

01

Start with curiosity

Bring questions, observations and a willingness to take part.

02

Explore shared ideas

Learn through guided group activities and different perspectives.

03

Connect to the world

Use newspaper and map-based learning to develop awareness.

04

Reflect and express

Practise communicating clearly and participating responsibly.

Before the next step

Clarity for parents.

How do we decide if this is suitable?

Discuss the child’s class, interests, current learning context and goals with the academy. This guide offers information, not an automated eligibility or admission decision.

What should we ask about arrangements?

Confirm delivery arrangements, current availability, session timings, frequency, duration and any applicable fees directly with the academy. These details have not been assumed in this guide.

How is this different from the other pathways?

AIM is personalised one-to-one mentoring. LEAP is Sunday group learning. Paruvathe Payir Sei is a separate introductory webinar about early foundations and parental guidance.

Does this promise an IAS selection or examination result?

No. The focus is foundational learning and mentoring. No selection, appointment, examination result or fixed academic outcome is guaranteed.

How do we take the next step?

Start with a WhatsApp or telephone conversation. If applying for admission, discuss requirements with the academy. For a learner under 18, a parent or guardian should provide the contact details and consent.

Let’s find a clear
direction together.

Discuss LEAP with Junior IAS Academy.
